POLOKWANE : The Economic Freedom Fighters has deployed Lawrence Mapoulo as the new Limpopo Provincial Chairperson.
Mapoulo replaces Tshilidzi Maraga in the party's top seat in the province despite the party remaining the official opposition in the province.
The party says it was dissatisfied with the performance of Provincial Secretary, Mokwape Ramalobela, Provincial Deputy Secretary, Mpusheng Leshabane and Provincial Treasurer, Tinyiko Manganye with the members being relieved from their duties with immediate effect.
They have been replaced by Kgothatso Mogoane who assumes the role of Provincial Secretary, Dunani Baloyi who takes over the role of Provincial Deputy Secretary as well as Maisie Kennedy who is the new Provincial Treasurer.
The EFF says the decision to replace 4 members in the province's top 5 leadership comes after the party's highest decision-making structure, the Special Central Command Team, expressed its dissatisfaction at the performance of those members.
The Red Berets welcomed nine members in the Provincial Legislature in Lebowakgomo last Friday.
