[HAPPENING NOW] Some residents of Pienaar outside Mbombela in Mpumalanga have blocked access roads, calling on the police to provide more support in the search for missing 6 year-old Junior Mabandla.

Junior was last seen on Monday after school when he went to a nearby shop to buy sweets and also play with other kids.

Community members have been searching for him ever since he was reported missing, but the search hasn't yielded positive results yet.

The protest has affected schooling as well as public transportation.
