[JUST IN] 39 year-old police officer Cedrick Khoza has pleaded guilty to three counts of murder after he shot and killed his wife Nomthandazo Mnisi who was a nurse at Mapulaneng Hospital in Mpumalanga.
Khoza also shot and killed the brother and sister of his wife, who were in the house to try and mediate on the couple's domestic issues which have been going on for a long time.
He appeared at the Mpumalanga Division of the High Court in Mbombela for trial and he will be sentenced next week Monday after the court satisfied itself that he is guilty of the crime committed.
The incident happened in April last year. Khoza told the court through the guilty plea that he used a state firearm to shoot his brother in law Dennis Nxumalo who called him a boy, and then proceeded to shoot the others as he had "a nervous breakdown."
