TWO YOUNG SIBLINGS SHOT AND BURNED TO DEATH BY A MAN WHO WAS LOOKING FOR THEIR FATHER

SOSHANGUVE: The township of Soshanguve in Tshwane, Gauteng is yet again back in the news as crime continues to raise its ugly head. 


This time around, a father of two has been left devastated after his daughters were brutally murdered by a known suspect. 

Louis Manganye' daughters were killed by a suspect who was looking for him in Extension 7, Soshanguve on Sunday. 


The Police say the suspect gunned down Mpfumo (4) and Tinyiko Mashaba (7) and burnt the shack they were sleeping in. 


Tinyiko Mashaba (7) was a Grade 2 learner at Lesedi Primary School at the time of her death. 

“The suspects proceeded to a shack in the same area where they allegedly set alight the shack where two young girls were sleeping. They were both certified dead on the scene,” said Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo. 


The incident took place at around 19 : 30 while they were sleeping in a shack. 


The armed suspect also fired gunshots at a shebeen, murdering two and wounding four in Changing Spot Informal Settlement, Soshanguve.
