GA MASHISHI – A chaotic accident unfolded on the R37 between Ga Mashishi and Manya ka when a Nissan Hardbody driver lost control of his vehicle while attempting to avoid a head-on collision with a minibus taxi.  The taxi driver fled the scene following the incident. The accident occurred when the Nissan Hardbody swerved to dodge the oncoming minibus taxi, resulting in the driver losing control of the vehicle. Some of his body parts were missing. Limpopo Police Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says that the reports suggest that the deceased was staying with his nephew and apparently the nephew last saw his uncle on Friday, 07 June 2024 at around 14:00 when he indicated that he was going to visit his girlfriend unknown to the nephew. Malesela Ledwaba says that he was certified dead on the scene and his identity is withheld pending further Police investigations. The motive behind the incident is currently unknown.
