Police spokesperson Thabo Covane described the scene where the woman was found severely injured by the dogs. “The police rushed to the scene and found the 28-year-old victim lying on the ground, severely bitten by the dogs. The injuries were mostly on the lower parts of the body,” Covane said. Members at the scene had to put down three of the dogs, while the local SPCA took another dog and its puppies to safety.
