2 OUT OF 6 LIMPOPO MEN DIE AFTER DRINKING A CLEANING TEA OFFERED BY ONE OF THEM IN A TARVEN

Two out of six Limpopo men have lost lives while others are receiving medical attention after they were offered tea for cleaning their stomachs on Wednesday, 03 June 2024 at about 12:00 in Limpopo ( Sekhukhune).

According to Limpopo Police Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, they were at the nearest tavern when a known man offered them tea, alleging that it was for cleaning their stomachs. They allegedly drank the tea and afterwards they all became dizzy and couldn't walk.

Spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba says that the other two of them apparently refused to drink the treatment and ran away.

Malesela Ledwaba says that the owner of the tavern, after witnessing the incident, instructed his son to take victims to the nearest clinic.
